NOPD still seeking 6 after arresting 9 for brawl on uptown route that left one stabbed

New Orleans police are still on the hunt for 6 individuals in connection with an altercation that led to a stabbing during a parade last Saturday.

Officers say on Feb. 7, there was a brawl involving many people in the 2100 block of St. Charles Ave. along the parade route, where one person was stabbed.

Police did arrest nine people for disturbing the peace and engaging in fistic encounters.

One of the suspects, Syjuan Chriss is receiving an additional charge of second-degree battery.
