A 16-year-old girl is dead after police say a bus hit her in City Park.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. Saturday on Zachary Taylor Drive. A New Orleans Police Department spokesperson says a school bus was headed towards Wisner Boulevard when it struck the teen. An EMS crew took the girl to the hospital, where she later died.
Police have not released the victim’s name.
