New Orleans police are investigating two separate shootings that happened early Friday morning, landing two men in area hospital.
The first happened around 1:30 a.m. on Bienville Street near St. Louis Cemetery #2. Police say they found the victim, a man, at the scene suffering from a body wound.
The other happened around 2:30 a.m. near the corner of Mayo Boulevard and the I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East. Police say they learned of the shooting after the victim arrived at a hospital to seek treatment for his wound.
