Cops say a pair of drivers for rideshare services were held at gunpoint in New Orleans Monday night.
"Victim driving rideshare picked up suspects as passengers. Suspects produced handgun and demanded victim exit vehicle. Victim complied. Suspects fled in victim’s 2013 Nissan Pathfinder," according to an initial police report.
That happened around 8:45pm in the 3100 block Lamarque Street.
The police only describe the carjackers as "three unknown black males."
Just before 10:30pm "Three unknown black males" carjacked another driver near the corner of Horace Street and Luna Street.
"Victim driving rideshare when he picked up suspects as passengers. While dropping suspects off at destination, suspects produced firearms and demanded victim’s vehicle. Victim complied. Suspects fled in victim’s 2012 Red Nissan Rogue," NOPD said.
