New Orleans police are investigating the city’s third shooting in seven hours.
The latest shooting happened just before 9 p.m. According to NOPD spokesperson Reese Harper, officers have not yet determined where exactly the shooting happened.
Harper says two men suffered gunshot wounds to the body. Those men arrived at a local hospital via a private car. No other details about the case have been released.
A shooting around 7 p.m. in the Upper Ninth Ward left another man in the hospital with a body wound. A shooting around 2:45 p.m. in the Seventh Ward landed a woman in the hospital with a body wound. So far, police have not made any arrests in connection with those cases.
