For the second time in 12 hours, the New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in Algiers.
The latest incident happened around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday on Elizardi Boulevard near Wall Boulevard.
According to an NOPD spokesperson, the victim was shot multiple times. That victim was later pronounced dead. The spokesperson did not say if the victim died at a hospital or at the scene of the crime.
The NOPD worked a deadly shooting about four miles away on Sullen Boulevard just before midnight Monday night. The victim in that case died at the hospital.
So far, police have not made an arrest in either case.
