A St. Tammany Parish grand jury, this week, indicted 77-year-old Sharon Lambert of Slidell for three counts of cruelty to persons with infirmities.
"The case involves alleged mistreatment or neglect of three disabled adults," Assistant District Attorney Bruce Dearing said in a brief new release.
At least one of those victims is dead.
Lambert’s 19-year-old mentally disabled adopted son, Jonathan Lambert died in 2020.
The coroner's office found the teen was starved and dehydrated.
The other victims were reportedly adopted, disabled adults.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office headed the investigation.
