The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Sunday shooting in Marrero.
“Around 1:30 pm, deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting near the intersection of James Dr. and Wabash Dr.” Sergeant Brandon Veal said in an email. “Upon arrival, they located two adult male victims outside a residence. Both victims were suffering from at least one gunshot wound and were both transported to an area hospital for treatment. One of the victims succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.”
He says a third adult male then arrived at the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
“There is no motive or suspect information available at this time.”
