New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 3700 block of Blair Street in Algiers.
Police say shortly before 7:45 p.m. Saturday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a man shot in that location.
"Initial reports show one adult male suffered from an apparent gunshot wound," said NOPD Public Information Officer Danielle Miller. "The victim was pronounced dead on scene by EMS."
