Almost four weeks ago was Black Friday. Last weekend was "Super Saturday." And today, it's the Day After.
"It can be pretty busy," said LSU business professor Dan Rice, as people bring in armloads of returns, "as people try to return the gifts that maybe weren't quite as well fit to them as the people giving them thought."
And plenty of people will be bargain -hunting, too -- especially if they're ready to get some of their old holiday decor.
"One of the big ones would be things like Christmas decorations, Christmas lights, and what you see is a lot of these retailers cutting those quite substantially the day after Christmas," said Rice. "If you think about it, it's a lot of things retailers are going to see decreasing demand for as time goes on."
