The suspect in a deadly September shooting in Algiers is now behind bars after New Orleans police arrested him on Friday.
Teddy Allen, 42, is accused of mortally wounding Nelson Harry, 32, on Garden Oaks Drive near Behrmann Highway on the afternoon of September 17. Police who responded to calls of the shooting found Harry's body inside a car.
Allen was already in the Orleans Parish Prison when authorities connected him with the case. He was rebooked into the jail on a second-degree murder charge.
