Hotels and short-term rentals are filling up today as people descend on New Orleans for music and golf.
We're about to be deep in festival season in New Orleans, and the city has been on a roll all year.
"We are ready for a big weekend. "It's actually a big week," said New Orleans & Company's Kelly Schulz, who notes that the weekend starts Thursday with Jazz Fest now on an eight-day schedule.
"It's easily $500 million in economic impact for our community; it is a packed two weekends for the city," said Schulz.
The PGA tour stops in New Orleans, and the Zurich Classic golf tournament begins the same day as the fest.
"Lots going on, which is good for business, good for the economy, and good for our community," said Schulz.
