Jefferson parish officials Friday announced the lineup for the annual Uncle Sam Jam this July 3 at Metairie's Lafreniere Park.
Bret Michaels, lead singer from the hair-metal ban Poison, and rock band Starship along with Orleans will headline the show.
Local favorites The Top Cats and Amanda Shaw are also set to perform.
"This event creates an evening of great music and food for the whole family to enjoy," said Jefferson Parish Councilmember Dominick Impastato. "There’s no better way to open your Independence Day celebrations."
The Uncle Sam Jam begins at 2 p.m. Monday, July 3, and features a fireworks display over the park.
