New Orleans police say they caught a 43-year-old man selling several varieties of edible and smokable marijuana on Bourbon St. Friday night.
"Around 6:51 p.m., Eighth District officers on a walking patrol in the 400 block of Bourbon Street encountered a subject selling suspected edible marijuana products from a plastic container," according to an NOPD statement. "Gregory Dunning was taken into custody and brought to the Eighth District station."
Police say they confiscated the following from Dunning:
- 15 2 oz. covered plastic containers containing marijuana
- 63 hand-rolled cigarettes containing marijuana
- 32 2 oz covered plastic containers containing gummy worms
- 84 rice krispy style treats containing possible vegetable matter
- 1 sealed white packet label ‘Snowman’ containing marijuana (packet was stamped ‘State of California’ with a cannabis flower)
Police booked Dunning on one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
