Three people remain in the running for New Orleans Police Superintendent, WWL-TV reports, and one of them is Interim Chief Michelle Woodfork.
The other two acre former Oakland Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick, and former Henderson, Nevada chief Thedrick Andres.
WWL-TV reports the three are the recommendation of a panel of "stakeholders" assembled by New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell.
Cantrell's Communications Director, Gregory Joseph, said no list of recommendations has been sent to the mayor's office.
Whoever the mayor chooses, the New Orleans City Council will have to vote to confirm the nomination.
