About 1,800 Entergy New Orleans customers lost power Friday night as parades passed down St. Charles Ave.
The outage extended a few blocks up St. Charles Ave. from the Pontchartrain Expressway.
Social media posts claim a confetti cannon in one of the parades hit a transformer.
By 10 p.m., Entergy's online power outage map showed most power had been restored.
