A Tuesday night shooting in New Orleans East sent a woman to the hospital.
According to Nola.com, she was nine months pregnant.
NOPD says the 29-year-old victim was not the intended target.
"Victim's boyfriend picking her up from residence when gray SUV stopped in middle of street. Suspects exited vehicle fired upon boyfriend. Victim struck once," an initial police report detailed.
EMS took the woman to the hospital.
The police report says there were four shooters, only described as, "unknown black males."
It happened around 8:15pm in the 4600 block of Redwood Street.
There is no word on the condition of the woman or her baby.
