The video shows individuals pushing the barriers out of the way to allow a truck to travel through when the street was supposed to be closed to traffic.
The NOPD will get further help from Project NOLA after video surfaced online of people easily moving the barricades placed on Bourbon Street.
The barricades were in place to deter vehicular traffic and prevent another
incident like the terror attack that occurred on January 1 of this year.
Project NOLA's latest proposed effort is a system that will alert police officers when a vehicle is traveling down Bourbon St.
