Gunfire early Sunday morning in the 200 block of Bourbon Street killed a woman and sent three more people to the hospital.
"At about 2:22 a.m., NOPD Eighth District officers responded to shots fired in the area," according to a news release.
Bullets hit three women and a man.
"One of the adult females was declared deceased on scene."
Cops are now looking for four people.
"The NOPD is seeking assistance from the public in locating and identifying four subjects."
Detectives released the following:
"The depicted subjects – two unknown black males and two unknown black females – were viewed at the scene of the shooting at the time of the incident. The pictured heavyset male subject is the suspected perpetrator in this incident, while the additional subjects were seen with the suspect at the time of the incident and are considered to be persons of interest."
