The good news: we'll be seeing drier conditions in the New Orleans Metro over the next week.

The bad news: we'll experience much warmer and more humid conditions.

Rain chances will hover around 30 percent for the next seven days. High temperatures will top out around 94° during the same period, with overnight lows in the upper-70s south of Lake Pontchartrain and in the mid-70s on the Northshore.

If you plan on spending time outdoors, make sure you hydrate, take occasional breaks in the shade, and watch for signs of heat exhaustion.
