A front will bring cooler temperatures and less humidity on Sunday.
WWLTV’s Meteorologist Payton Malone says, “Friday will be a hot and humid day, but we'll need to watch out for showers and t-storms through the afternoon. A complex of storms to the north is moving southwest out of northern Louisiana this morning. This line of storms is expected to weaken as it approaches southeast Louisiana by the late morning hours. However, a few storms could hold on and move through the area late this morning and through the afternoon. A few strong storms are possible with gusty winds being the main threat. Things will wind down this evening and tonight.”
