Johnson & Johnson has launched a new large-scale late-stage trial to test a two-dose regimen of its experimental COVID-19 vaccine and evaluate potential incremental benefits for the duration of protection with a second dose. The drugmaker plans to enrol up to 30,000 participants for the study and run it in parallel with a one-dose trial with as many as 60,000 volunteers that began in September.
Walmart has resumed monitoring and counting the number of customers entering its stores, to make sure it doesn’t exceed capacity limits, as coronavirus cases surge at record rates across the country. Bottom of Form
Dating back to April, Walmart has been restricting the number of people in its big-box stores to not exceed about 20% of a store’s capacity. But for a period of time, the retailer had stopped physically counting people as they came inside and left.
