GETTIN' AROUND: Road closures map and guide for Super Bowl week

Whether you’re a rabid football fan or only watching Super Bowl LIX for the commercials, this week you'll have to deal with some traffic disruptions.

There will be full closures and partial closures, mainly in the Quarter and the CBD. Here’s what to know for now, and we’ll continuously update this page throughout the week with any pertinent information.

The City of New Orleans released a full interactive map outlining closures for specific parts of the city and how they change throughout Super Bowl week.

Caesar's Superdome:

- Roads surrounding the Superdome and Smoothie King Center will be fully closed

Downtown:

- Poydras closed in both directions from S. Claiborne to Loyola Avenue

- Canal Street, from North Rampart to Basin, will be closed (Feb 4th - Feb 7th)

- Howard Avenue will remain fully closed

- Canal Street, from Burgundy to Basin, will be reduced to the two left-bound lanes (Jan 30th - Feb 4th)

Convention Center:

- Convention Center Blvd reduced to one lane (Jan 31st - Feb 11th)

Saenger Theatre Area:

- Expect closures of all roads surrounding the Marriott and Saenger Theatre

- Basin and Iberville closed (Jan 31st - Feb 4th)
