Today, the Saints legend donned the ceremonial white gloves and accepted the delivery of the Vince Lombardi Trophy to be awarded either to the Kansas City Chiefs or the Philadelphia Eagles.

McAllister said, "Hopefully all the friends that are here can come by and see the Vince Lombardi Trophy...Here in New Orleans, we're excited and looking forward to a great Supper Bowl between two great teams."
Of course, McAllister knows exactly how it feels to hold the trophy as a victor, as he was part of the Saint's Super Bowl team that won back in 2010 when they defeated the Indianapolis Colts, 31 - 17.
When asked about how it feels to hold the 7.5 lbs., solid sterling-silver award he said, "You hug it; you want to kiss it...that's what you're playing for."
