NOPD is investigating a homicide that occurred during the early morning hours at a yet-to-be determined location.
At about 1:50 a.m., an adult female victim with multiple gunshot wounds arrived at a local hospital via private conveyance. The victim was later pronounced deceased, at which time NOPD Homicide Unit detectives assumed control of the investigation.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information – including determining the location of occurrence – to identify the person(s) responsible for this incident, as well as a motive.
