A sixteen-year-old junior at Haynes Academy is identified as the second victim to die following a quadruple shooting in Metairie.
Josiah Pujols was wounded when the shooting started Thursday night on Division Street in Fat City.
A 22-year-old man, Melvin Francis was also shot and killed in the melee.
Two others were also hit by bullets, but survived.
Investigators found a bullet riddled SUV on Belvedere Street.
Security cameras caught the violence, but did not yield any usable video of the shooters.
Reaction to the death of Pujols rippled through the campus of Haynes Academy.
The Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate reports Principal Karla Russo penned a letter to parents calling Pujols "an intelligent and athletic student [who] always had a kind word and smile for everyone he met."
