A St. James deputy sheriff faces charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
The Louisiana Attorney General's office Louisiana Bureau of Investigation agents also booked 23-year-old Tykeim Simoneaux was on a count of computer-aided solicitation of a minor, malfeasance in office and obstruction of justice.
Attorney General Liz Murrill thanked St. James Sheriff Claude Louis Jr. for his office's assistance in investigating one of their own.
The sheriff fired Simoneaux shortly after his arrest.
