A Reserve man is dead after state troopers say he crashed his car near Garyville.
It happened Thursday night around 10:40 p.m. on US 61 near LA 54.
According to state troopers, Conrad Jones ran his pickup truck off the road and into a ditch, flipping his truck in the process. Troopers say Jones, 44, was not wearing a seat belt. First responders took Jones to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
