Two men have been shot and killed in separate incidents Sunday morning.
The first happened around 1:30am in near UNO where a man was gunned down near the intersection of Leon C. Simon Drive and Franklin Avenue.
Officers found the victim suffering with a gunshot wound.
He was transported by EMS to a hospital where he later died.
Roughly seven hours later a man was shot and killed in New Orleans East near the intersection of the
I-10 Service Road and Camberley Drive in Little Woods.
Responding officer found the victim had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was dead on the scene.
Investigators are currently in the process of gathering evidence and information to identify the persons responsible for these incidents, as well as a motive.
