New Orleans Police say an argument between two men led to a fatal stabbing Friday afternoon.
Shortly after 3:45 p.m., officers were sent to the 4800 block of Perelli Drive in New Orleans East to investigate a stabbing.
"Upon arrival, officers located an adult male inside of a residence who had sustained multiple stab wounds," said police. "The victim was declared deceased on scene."
Another subject on the scene, identified as 46-year-old Tarref Simon, was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries. After further questioning, officers arrested Simon and booked him on one count of second degree murder.
