After a week long investigation, cops north of the lake have booked a teacher with multiple sex crimes.
Morgan Freche recently resigned, and police received a formal complaint that the father of her child is a 17-year-old student at Loranger High School.
"The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office announces the arrest of 33 year old Morgan Freche of Loranger, following an investigation of sexual misconduct with a minor," TPSO released today. "Sheriff Daniel Edwards says Freche turned herself into detectives this morning."
Investigators say allegations of sexual misconduct with a student date back approximately two years. The student is now 17-years-old.
"Several warrants were issued for her arrest."
Freche was a teacher at Loranger Jr. High and an assistant coach for girls sports at Loranger High School.
