A 15-year-old boy is dead and two others are wounded after a shooting at a Bogalusa birthday party.
According to a statement issued by the Bogalusa Police Department, that shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. Friday on Warren Street near North Avenue.
The statement said police found two victims when they arrived at the scene. One of them had suffered multiple wounds. The other had been shot in the upper leg. Police later learned about a third victim after that victim arrived at a local emergency room.
Officials say the two surviving victims are both 14-year-old boys. One of them remains in the hospital. The other has been released.
