New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 8600 block of Palmetto Street.
Police say around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a shooting in that location.
"Initial information shows a teenaged juvenile male gunshot wound victim was located on scene and has been declared deceased," police said.
