Today will be nice and sunny with temperatures touching the 80s across most of the area.
We’ll notice humidity will be climbing ahead of the weekend when storms, some strong, are expected.
Friday will dry with some thunderstorms possible in the afternoon and evening hours.
But most of Friday’s activity will be in Texas and Western Louisiana.
Saturday, we expect the curtain to go up on a full scale production of storms which could bring upwards of 2-to-4 inches of rain. Most areas will see at least a half inch with 1-and-a-half inches mostly possible. The storms will arrive around sunrise and continue through the early afternoon.
Next week is mostly dry and warm with a return to temps in the 80’s.
