Hours after Bogalusa revelers wrapped up their city’s MCCA Mardi Gras parade Saturday evening, a man sprayed bullets into a large crowd of people.
BPD allege 41-year-old Less Dillion drove up to the crowd following a domestic incident and opened fire. Bystanders in the crowd then returned fire with an estimated 40+ shots ringing out between Dillion and the crowd. Ten people were injured with injuries ranging from mild to serious, including a six-year-old.
WWL TV reports police say Dillion is a convicted felon who's been arrested in Bogalusa 18 times in the last roughly 20 years.
