The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred this evening in Terrytown.
Just after 5:00 pm, a deputy patrolling near Farmington Place heard multiple gunshots in the area.
Near the intersection of Farmington Place and Daniels Road, the deputy located a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending the notification of next of kin. There is no suspect or motive information available at this time.
