Three men suffered gunshot wounds in three separate shooting that happened within 12 hours of each other last night and early this morning in New Orleans.
According to NOPD investigators, the first shooting happened around 6:20 p.m. Wednesday on Abundance Street near Allen Street in the Seventh Ward. The victim in that case was taken to the hospital with a body wound.
The second shootng happened around 6:25 p.m. Wednesday on Peltier Drive off Alcee Fortier Boulevard in New Orleans East. Police say they found the victim when they arrived at the scene.
The final shooting happened just before 6 a.m. Thursday on St. Thomas Street at Washington Avenue in the Irish Channel. Police say the victim suffered a body wound and was taken to the hospital.
Police have not released the conditions of either of the three victims.
