Quadruple shooting on Franklin Avenue in New Orleans leaves two dead

New Orleans Police are looking for clues after four people were shot Sunday night in gunfire that left two victims dead.

"The NOPD is investigating... a homicide by shooting that occurred at the intersection of Franklin Ave and Madrid street," Public Information Officer James Roberson said in an email.

He said a 16-year-old male died on the scene, while EMS too a 17-year-old male to the hospital.

"2 additional adult victims arrived at an area hospital by private convenience suffering from at least one gun shot wound to the body."

A 23-year-old man died at the hospital.

It happened just after 7:00pm.
