Two men are in jail and a bystander is recovering after a police chase that ended with a crash in Mid City.
Our partners at NOLA.com report that State Police Troop NOLA arrested Harold Jerome and David Hall after that Friday night incident.
According to troopers, the incident began when they tried to pull over Jerome and Hall near the intersection of Esplanade Avenue and North Miro Street around 6:45 p.m. Troopers say when they activated their lights, the suspects took off and led them on a chase. That pursuit continued for about a mile-and-a-half until Jerome and Hall crashed into the back of another SUV near the intersection of Broad and Banks Streets.
The driver of the second vehicle suffered minor injuries.
Jerome and Hall are facing aggravated flight, obstruction of justice, hit-and-run, and drugs and guns charges.
