Update: The truck fire is out and the truck is moved to the shoulder of the roadway.
A big rig truck burst into flames on the Crescent City Connection from the Westbank. It happened on the lakebound CCC Bridge to the Eastbank a short time ago near the Camp Street exit.
Fire crews are on the scene and traffic is delayed from Gretna into New Orleans. Police are working to close the bridge at Tchoupitoulas.
