Tulane suspends 6 fraternities, sororities for COVID violations, says report

Tulane University suspended six fraternities and sororities and put a halt to all in-person student activities after allegations of violations of the school's coronavirus policy, The Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate reports.

The university has also suspended the Sigma Chi and Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternities and Kappa Kappa Gamma and Kappa Alpha Theta sororities for "misconduct related to COVID-19 behavioral expectations." Zeta Psi fraternity and Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority just came off suspension for alleged violations.


The university has also told students to remain in their off-campus residences and dormitories unless attending class or dining on campus.
