New Orleans Police are investigating two early morning homicides, one Uptown and another in New Orleans East.
The first happened around 2:50 a.m. Sunday near the corner of Audubon and Jeanette Streets. When police arrived, they found two men who had been wounded. One of them died at the scene. The other was taken to an area hospital. A third man in the group was not wounded.
The second shooting happened on the corner of Virgilian Street and Dreaux Avenue around 4:15 a. m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found the victim dead outside of a car.
