Police in New Orleans are working on two separate shootings Thursday that injured two men.
The first happened in the 1300 block of Dauphine Street near Esplanade Avenue.
An initial police report shows a male victim sustaining a non-life-threatening graze wound. Police say the victim refused EMS at the scene.
The NOPD is also investigating a shooting where a male victim with gunshot wounds to the lower body arrived at the local hospital by a private vehicle.
It happened intersection of Chef Menteur Highway and Downman Road.
Police say they received the initial notification at about 11:49 p.m. on Wednesday but was not confirmed until about an hour later at about 12.39 a.m. on Thursday.
The NOPD is also investigating a shooting in the 2200 block of Freret Street. Initial information shows a male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg has been transported via EMS to a local hospital. Police say it happened at about 1:45 a.m.
