A man was gunned down in the street.
EMS rushed the man to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
Officers are continuing to work the scene for witnesses, clues, and a motive for the killing.
Less than an hour later in Treme off Ursulines and Marais Streets a person was stabbed to death.
NOPD is tightlipped about both of these crimes and no other details have been released.
It is not known if these murders are connected.
