The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a double shooting Uptown.
"The incident occurred around 4:44 p.m. near the intersection of Hickory and Leonidas Streets," police said. "Two male victims sustained gunshot wounds to the legs."
It was the third incident to happen Saturday afternoon. Around 2:40 p.m., a man was shot in the 9000 block of Olive St. in Holly Grove. That was about a half-hour after a Gert Town shooting that injured a man near the intersection of South Genois and Erato streets.
EMS took the victims in all three incidents to the hospital. Authorities did not release information on their conditions.
