A vehicle crash caused a power outage in Kenner Wednesday night.
According to Kenner Police, the crash happened at the intersection of Joe Yenni Boulevard and Platt Street.
A Kenner Police report says, “At approximately 9:15 PM this evening Kenner Police responded to a report of a vehicle that struck a power pole, cutting the pole in half and knocking out power to a large area of the north side of Kenner. Passenger in vehicle had to be taken to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries.”
Entergy crews were quickly on the scene to repair the downed power lines and restore power to the area.
