You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Sure, but sometimes a shoot and a miss brings its own kind of misery.
Case in point was this fan at the LSU World Series game fan who took his shot with a woman in the stands at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, where the Tigers won their first Men’s College World Series 18-4 over Florida. Unlike his team, this fan got to experience the sting of defeat.
ESPN cameras captured the man leaning over to talk to the woman, laughing and making a happy fist-bump in her direction. That's apparently where he took a wrong turn because the attractive woman in the cropped halter top gave him the unmistakable 'talk to the hand' gesture in return.
Then she pointed to the field as if to tell him to watch the game.
"We found the 'L' in LSU,' one man wrote on Twitter.
Others pointed out the fact that he's wearing a wedding ring, noting 'Just wait until his wife sees this."
