A St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office deputy wrangled a wayward calf this weekend on Hwy. 190, but a second calf remains missing.

The sheriff's office says the two calves managed to get out of their enclosure on Harrison Ave. on Saturday. Deputy Daniel Owens was on shift and jumped into action -- which was captured in part on video by Kristin Braud:

Many of y’all remember a few months back we had a baby cow 𝙖𝙠𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙛 🐄🥛 loose on Hwy. 190 that had a rather sad ending. During that particular chase, the baby cow was much too elusive for Deputy Owens and the lil fella was ultimately hit by a car😳. This call came out Saturday after two 4 month old baby cows / calves managed to escape their residence off of Harrison Ave, and of course Deputy Owens was on shift (𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 😳.)
