Mardi Gras is back, as if there was any doubt, and so far, it looks like Mother Nature will be cooperating most of the rest of the way.
The weekend was on the chilly side, but your next few parade days will be like spring.
"In fact, we're looking at Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, highs 80, 80, and 82," said Louisiana climatologist Barry Keim.
Keim says another front is due to arrive later in the week and give us another couple of chilly days, but for the most part, rain chances hold below 50 percent.
"And if that forecast holds out, that will be absolutely beautiful," he said. "Fat Tuesday is looking to be beautiful."
