Saints fans are bolstered by Sunday’s low scoring win over the Carolina Panthers.
The win got some revenge on Carolina who beat us in the second game of the year with quarterback Cam Newton’s antics and deflated the high riding Saints who prevailed over Green Bay in a dominating win the week before.
Now they’re without Newton and quarterback Sam Darnold got sacked, chased and threw a pick in the third quarter.
Hungry Saints fans were feasting on panthers when the gun sounded at the end of the game with a close 18-10 victory.
The win really instilled in fans the idea that getting to the playoffs is possible.
And many talked about the building on the win as they get ready for conference rival Atlanta, who is under 500.
The Saints D also was lauded for their performance: “Defense played lights-out! Cam Jordan got a sack late in the game that was perfect. Thank God we had Demario Davis back. That’s my defensive guy. Defense all the way, our defense came through big tonight with a couple turnovers, big sacks, Cameron Jordan takin’ it to another level.”
Once again, it’s raised spirits of the Who Dat Nation that are on display:
“Really looking forward to that Atlanta game. We beat Atlanta, play offs here we come, baby!”
